“The other day we had a new employee nearly break the cash register, overloaded it with too many commands. The line was backed up out the door- it was right before most people go to work, out busiest time of day. And everyone was getting angry, oh dear it was a mess. The guy is nice enough, poor thing was panicking, so scared that he’d broken it beyond repair. But it just needed to be re-started, so it all worked out in the end.”

They’re so well meaning but they cause so much destruction.” He paused for a moment, wondering in horror how much destruction John was causing to the Hub. But he hadn’t had a break in what felt like a lifetime, so he didn’t move.
“Has your new guy evened out a little bit?” he asked.
